We understand how helpful it can be to maximize your HSA or FSA funds, especially when balances are limited — thank you for asking!
Short answer:
No, Piper does not currently allow split payments (e.g., partial payment with HSA/FSA and the remainder on another card) at this time. All charges must be processed in full using the single payment method saved in your portal or via our standard billing process.
Why not?
Our system is designed to save and use one payment method at a time for simplicity and security. While HSA/FSA cards are fully accepted (and eligible for your GLP-1 treatment), we do not support splitting a single transaction across multiple cards or processing partial charges manually. This includes scenarios where your HSA/FSA covers only part of the order total.
Your easy alternatives
Option | How it Works |
Use your HSA/FSA for the full amount | If your balance covers the entire order (or plan), process checkout with your HSA/FSA card saved in the portal — it's accepted for self-pay GLP-1 care. |
Start month-to-month | Begin with a single monthly payment (auto-renews; cancel anytime) using whichever card works best for you — no large upfront commitment needed. |
Save a different card | Update your payment method in the Patient Portal to use a credit/debit card that can cover the full amount. Major cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) are accepted. |
Contact your HSA/FSA provider | Check with your card issuer about any options they may have for reimbursement after full payment (some allow post-purchase claims for eligible expenses). |
We’re committed to making care as straightforward and accessible as possible. If your HSA/FSA balance is lower than needed, starting month-to-month is often the simplest way forward.
